new single from Sex and the City movie soundtrack

Fergie's "Labels or Love," the movie theme for the film version of "Sex and the City" was just released, and you can hear it here.

Have to say, it took a couple of hearings for the song to grow on me. It's nice that they did an homage to the original theme score, but I don't like it when Fergie talks through portions of the song. It's somewhere between a marching chant and rapping in slo-mo. I'm usually very polarized when it comes to Fergie's music. Having seen her perform live at a BEP concert once, she can definitely sing, but her music choices are never very reflective of her talent, and anyhow, maybe I'm getting old, but this song started to give me a headache half way in.

What do you think?
